Whew! Christmas time is… DONE! I’ve been holding on to so many projects that I want to share here, but I’ve had to keep them secret as they’re all gifts! Can’t have spoilers floating around, now can we? Here’s the first of a few…

And the process:

“Lilly and Sadie” (Acrylic)

Lilly and Sadie were commissioned by a classmate I had in grade school! He wanted to get something extra special for his girlfriend for Christmas, so he commissioned this portrait of her two adorable dachshunds. It’s huge, too, at 24×24! It’s always intimidating to start something so large, but it was a lot of fun to see it all come together. I hope she loved it!
